Functional food ingredient "Fujiflavone"
Three functions that maintain women's skin's "moisture content," "barrier function," and "elasticity" have been accepted for notification as functional foods.
"Fujiflavone" is a functional food ingredient extracted and purified from soybean cotyledons. Through joint research with Daicel Corporation, a notification for a functional food product was accepted by the Consumer Affairs Agency on December 18, 2023, highlighting three functions related to "maintenance of skin moisture, barrier function, and elasticity," with soybean isoflavones and lactobionic acid as the active components. In addition to the function of maintaining bone health with soybean isoflavones, it will be possible to promote the triple health claims regarding the maintenance of skin moisture, barrier function, and elasticity. The results of this research have been patented through a joint application by Fujicco and Daicel Corporation.
